Obituary of Frank J. Farrell

Frank J. Farrell, 89, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2022, at his residence in Rhoadesville, VA.  Frank was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He later resided in Springfield Gardens, NY, Lake Ronkonkoma, LI, NY, Fairfield, NJ, Monroe Twp. NJ, Rockaway, NJ, and Locust Grove, VA.  Most recently, he resided in Rhoadesville, VA. After working on some of the first computers in the 1960’s, Frank spent most of his career as a customer service manager in the specialty lighting industry. He retired in 2000. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. A devout Catholic, Frank served as lecture and was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. The most important thing in life to Frank was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was always willing to offer his wise advice when asked and lend a helpful hand.   

Frank is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Marjorie Farrell in 2021.

Frank is survived by his three children, Barbara Waga and her husband George of Rhoadesville, VA, Kathleen Donohue and her husband Jerome of Randolph, and William Farrell and his wife Renee of Howell, three grandchildren, Christopher, Alexandra, and Larissa, sisters Dorothy (Joe) Genovese and Eileen Yeager, stepbrother Joseph Sauls, and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Monday September 19, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 - 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Monday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 23 Manalapan Rd, Spotswood, NJ 08884.  Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park & Mausoleum, South Brunswick, NJ.
