Obituary of Lucy Quinn

Lucy (Battaglia) Quinn, 82, of East Brunswick, passed away on Saturday September 3, 2022 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick.  Lucy was born and raised in Brooklyn.  She lived on Long Island and in Pennsylvania before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., and most recently The Chelsea in East Brunswick.  She was employed briefly as a secretary on Wall St. before raising her family as a homemaker.  Lucy was involved in many clubs and activities while living in Rossmoor and the The Rosary while living at The Chelsea.  She loved gardening, cooking, crocheting and playing cards.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Quinn (2017), two sisters, Dolly Gangi and Melly Gioia.  

She is survived by her son, Kevin Quinn and his wife Linda of Merrick, NY, her daughter, Denine Bruzzo and her husband Joseph of East Brunswick, her grandson, Chris Quinn of Merrick, NY, and one sister, Margie Voccola of Tampa, FL.  

Visitation will be 5-9 pm on Friday September 9, 2022 and 9:30-10:15 am on Saturday September 10, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 - 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 10:15 am on Saturday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 11 am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  Cremation is private.
