Obituary of Loretta L. Blunt

Loretta L. Blunt passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at The Terraces at Seacrest Village in Little Egg Harbor.  She was 82 years old.  Loretta was born and raised in Bloomfield.  She briefly lived in Perth Amboy before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1964.  She was a housekeeper and operated her own business for many years.

Loretta loved life and portrayed a positive attitude right up until her passing.  She liked cooking and enjoyed crafts.  She was most devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren whom she proudly cared for and watched in their early years.

She was predeceased by one brother and one sister.

She is survived by three children, Roy Kowalski and his wife Lisa Feder of Plainsboro, Edward Kowalski and his wife Jennifer Klecan of Monroe Twp., and Linda Burgin and her fiancée Michael Walker of Wildwood Crest, one brother, John Blunt, three grandchildren, Amanda Kowalski, Carly Kowalski, and Nicholas Burgin, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 3-6 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2022 and from 10-11 AM on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Monroe Twp.
