Obituary of Ruth Ikuss

Ruth Ikuss

Ruth was born in Newark, NJ.  She was very proud of her Father who was a fire captain there.

She moved to Monroe from Somerset, but her favorite place that she lived was Spring Lake Heights.  She considered the shore her home.

Ruth was a homemaker who was also always busy with many volunteer projects.  She was a member of the local Women’s Club, St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, the PTA and she helped raise money to build Deborah Hospital.  

Ruth loved playing games and cards and she was a world class cook and baker.

She is predeceased  by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother as well as her Husband, Jim Ikuss.  She is survived by her Daughter Pat Bubb and Son -in-law Jay of Fort Myers, Florida, her son Jim Ikuss and Grandson Scott, his Wife Amanda and 2 great grandsons.
