Obituary of Jane C. Klee

Jane Cecilia Klee of The Ponds in Monroe Township, New Jersey passed away at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ on June 30, 2022, of natural causes. She was 92.

Jane was born and raised in the New Dorp section of Staten Island, New York, one of five children of Augustus and Elizabeth Klee. Jane worked as a secretary for Allstate Insurance for many years. Upon retirement, she moved to The Ponds community in 1997, where she enjoyed the company of wonderful friends and neighbors for the past 25 years. Jane was a communicant of Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, where she volunteered and was a Eucharistic minister.

Jane is survived by two nieces, Karen Kidney (Hurley) and Barbara Yetman (Hurley), two nephews, Timothy Hurley and Brian Hurley, and their spouses, and a sister-in-law, Grace Klee (Morro). She was predeceased by her siblings, Elizabeth (Betty) Adams, Augustus (Gus) Klee, Robert Klee and, most recently, Catherine Hurley of nearby Rossmoor.

Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of the visiting hours at 11:00am from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 11:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick Twp.
