Obituary of Genevieve B. Gaboury

Genevieve B. Gaboury, 81, passed away on Sunday June 5, 2022 at her residence in Monroe Twp.  She was born in Jersey City and raised in Deep River, CT where she lived until getting married.  She then moved to Oakdale, CT and finally settled in Monroe Twp. in 1981.  She was employed as a secretary by the Somerset County School District for 25 years until her retirement in 2014.  Genevieve loved the beach, especially Wildwood, camping and gardening in her spare time.  Christmas was her most favorite time of the year.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Gaboury (1996).

She is survived by her two sons: Richard Gaboury and his wife Lucille of Summerville, SC and Michael Gaboury and his girlfriend Jane Phillips of Monroe Twp., three siblings, Beatrice Barone and her husband John of Port St. Lucie, FL, Charle Kruszewski and his wife Joyce and Jerry Kruszewski, all of Connecticut.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Private services are being held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.
