Obituary of Thomas C. Huxford

Thomas C. Huxford passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp.  He was 77 years old.  Thomas was born in Elizabeth and lived a number of years in Rahway and Florida.  He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He worked for Merck & Co. in Rahway for 35 years before he retired in 2001.  He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League in Linden, the American Legion Post 5 in Rahway, the VFW in Avenel, and was an honorary member of the PBA.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and eating, especially pizza.  Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his friends and grandchildren.

Tom was pre-deceased by his six brothers, James, Robert, Richard, Terence, Patrick, Timothy, and his son, Randy.

He is survived by his son, Kerry Huxford, his daughter, Shawn Wray, six grandchildren, and longtime friend, Barbara Krysiak.

Friends and relatives may gather with the family on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of the visiting hours at 11:00am from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 11:30am at St. James the Less RC Church, 36 Lincoln Ave. Jamesburg, NJ 08831.  A private cremation will follow the mass.
