Obituary of Christine Anne Barreto

Christine Anne Barreto, 52 passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, in Princeton Medical Center at Plainsboro.

Christine was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and lived her whole life in New Jersey. She was a loving and attentive mother for most of her adult life. She was the sweetest and kindest person you could meet. She was the person who would give her last dollar or the clothes off her back to someone in need. Christine had a big heart and was the strongest woman you could meet. Throughout any struggles, she would always find a way to pull through. She always made light of any tough situations. She was positive and would always try her best to make the people around her feel happy. Her laugh, her energy, made it impossible for anyone around her to feel down. Christine could be a comedian at times without even putting in the effort. You could not keep a straight face around her for one second.

Christine enjoyed spending time watching her favorite show, Rosanne, and being a goof with her kids. She was a crafter and artist who loved drawing & crocheting. She loved life and lived for her kids and was the most selfless person.

She is survived by her children; Zachary Lemerich of Bensalem PA, Joseph Barreto, Abigail Barreto, Anthony Barreto, and Sebastian Barreto all of Monroe Township, and her brother Daniel Lemerich of Jamesburg.

A Visitation and prayer service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. (732) 521-0555.

A private cremation will be held under the care of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc.
