Obituary of Dona Lee Midgley-Corraro

Dona Lee Midgley-Corraro, 53, passed away on Saturday May 7, 2022 at her residence in South River.  Dona was born in Staten Island and raised in Barnegat.  She lived in Monroe Twp. for many years before moving to South River 6 years ago.  She proudly served her country in the US Navy.  Dona loved being outdoors, kayaking, fishing and bird watching.  She was very active in her church and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.    

She was preceded in death by her son, Travis Corraro (2014) and her mother, Mary Ellen Midgley.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Corraro of Woodbury, her son, Paul Corraro of Belton, TX, her father, Ernie Midgley of Texas, her brother, Scott Midgley and his wife Danielle and her sister Beth Ann Bochiaro and her husband John, both of New Jersey and her best friend, Jacquie Southgate of South River.  Also surviving are many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Sunday May 15, 2022 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  A private cremation and interment of cremated remains will take place under the funeral home's direction.
