Obituary of Frank J. Granowski
Frank J. Granowski, 89, passed away at home in Monroe township on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
Frank was born in Brooklyn New York to Frank and Mary Granowski. He was raised there until moving to the Concordia community in 2005. Frank served in the United States Navy.
Frank was a school bus driver for over 30 years with the Varsity Bus Company in Brooklyn. he also worked for Dugan's Delivery Company also in Brooklyn for 20 years.
He loved to golf and was an honorary member of the American Legion post in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Eileen in 2002, his sons, Francis "Frank" Granowski in 1982, and Terrence Granowski in 1991, his son-in-law, Dr. Anthony Moretti in 2004, and his sister Eleanor Doody in 2021.
Frank is survived by, his daughters, Dawn Pizzo & her husband Peter of Monroe Township, Leslie Granowski, Laura Moretti, and Bridget Fiumano-Granowski, all of Staten Island, NY.
He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters, Joseph Granowski & his wife Carol, of Tarpon Springs FL., Patrick Granowski & his wife Patricia, also of Tarpon Springs Fl., Mary Giordano of Portland, ME, Gloria Frasca & her husband Ralph of Clearwater FL., and his brother in law John Doody of Absecon NJ.
Frank is also survived by seven dear grandchildren, Teresa Collier & her husband Gerald, Peter Pizzo & his wife Christine, Anthony Fiumano, Megan Moretti, Heather Fiumano, Morgan Moretti, and Anthony Moretti. and Three great-grandchildren; Gerald, Casey, and Hunter.
Services will be held privately.
