Dear Maureen,
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and yours. We are glad that we had the opportunity to see and talk with John last Thursday. He was a very special person and will be misses by many people including us. Thank God we had our special times together, going to Church; going to American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA and the many restaurants we shared meal, Knights of Columbus functions etc. We will cherish these memories forever.
May you find some solace knowing that John has found a new, better home with his Lord? We can only hope that the memories of all the things you shared together, gladness, sadness, weakness and strength, will help to sustain you in this time of sorrow. And so it is with our lives—It requires both faith and prayer to strength us and lift us up to flourish in God’s care…
