I only just recently found out about Tom’s passing, and wanted to share my sincere condolences to his wife Elizabeth and family. I met and worked with Tom in East Windsor, we had lunch together often and he would share with me stories of the “grand old days” in pharmaceutical sales, as well as stories about his family and childhood. He was always there to listen and offer advice when you needed it, and gave the warmest smile and greeting each morning.
Tom was a true and genuine friend to me, I considered him like family. I was greatly saddened to hear of his death. Elizabeth, Tom and I caught up and chatted every couple of months since his retirement, and I looked forward to every call I had with him. I will miss him greatly. I know he is in heaven with his mother, father and dear Lynn, looking out for all his friends and loved ones here on earth.
You are and always will be in my prayers my friend, Rest In Peace.

I worked with Tom at NACCME (HMP), and am so sad to hear of his passing. Tom was such a generous, caring, and genuine person and greeted everyone who entered the front door with those qualities. He once brought me beet salad that his wife made and gave me a copy of a healthy eating book. Tom would always make sure I knew the lunch options that were served as I was a vegetarian. Tom always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say about everyone. He had a great smile and laugh. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Tom touched my heart, and I will remember him fondly always.

My Uncle Tom was such a wonderful uncle filled with so much love, warmth and humor…he always had a story to tell and at the end, there was always a moral to that story. We always had enjoyed our time together and each one was very special and memorable especially when he told a joke or just acting silly. He was a serious man as well and I have learned a lot from him. Whenever he heard that you were sick or not feeling well, he would call you to see how you were feeling, which medicines the doctor had prescribed and to give you further advice on how to get better. At the end of each call he always said “I Love You”. I will miss my Uncle Tom so very much for he had taken the place when I had lost my father (James Petersen) in a way. He had called my mother (Anna Petersen) every Sunday morning without fail which I’m sure she is going to miss so very much. We love you Uncle Tom, please be at peace and in the comfort of your new home with grandma and grandpa, Aunt Lynn, Uncle Al and the rest of the Fochetta/Buonicontri family in heaven. We will miss you so, your niece Louise, Doug, Robert and your sister Anna xoxo

I worked with Tom at HMP. He was one of the nicest, kindest men I have ever known. He was a friend when I very much needed one, and his friendship and caring carried me through the darkest period of my life. I will hold his memory with me feeling grateful I got to know him. The world is less bright with his loss.

Tom was a wonderful Brother in Law. Funny, smart, a great dancer, engaged in life. He was raised in Brooklyn by his loving mother Louise and Father Thomas. He attended and graduated from St Johns University and had a successful career in medical sales, advertising and communications. He married Lynn Holden and they lived in PA, Long Island,NYC and New Jersey. Lynn passed in 2012.
