Obituary of Aida Cornejo
Aida (Masalaysay) Cornejo, PhD passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at her residence in Millstone Twp. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Cornejo was born and raised in the Philippines. She came to the US in 2001 and settled in Bayonne. She also resided in Concordia, Monroe Twp. prior to moving to Millstone Twp. in 2017. She was a Doctor of Education and was employed by the Philippine Public School System. She had a very strong faith, had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother, and served the church in her younger years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Artemio in 2020, and three siblings.
She is survived by her five children, Monette De los Santos and her husband Manuel, Sonny Cornejo, Louie Cornejo, Ronnie Cornejo and his wife Lalaine, Arlene Isidro and her husband Ronnie, nine grandchildren, and many other extended family members.
A private cremation took place under the funeral home's direction.
A Memorial Mass will be 11:00am on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
