John Leon LoMonaco, Monroe Township, NJ

John Leon LoMonaco, 61, died on Wednesday December 29, 2021, at his residence with his loving family by his side.  John was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Staten Island for many years before moving to Monroe Township, NJ in 1999.  John was employed by TD Ameritrade in Jersey City where he worked as a compliance officer.  John was an avid golfer and loved to cook. 

John is preceded in death by his father, Leon J. LoMonaco (2009) and his first wife Donna LoMonaco (1995).   

John is survived by his mother, Theresa LoMonaco of Birmingham, AL., loving wife Nancy LoMonaco of Monroe Township, NJ, son, John Leon LoMonaco, Jr., two daughters, Gina Marie Simon and her husband Matthew of Manalapan, NJ, Deanna Theresa Ritzo and her husband Charles of Barre, VT., three siblings, Paul Leon LoMonaco and his wife Madeline of Blairstown, NJ, Nina Theresa Tarpley of Birmingham, AL, James Leon LoMonaco and his wife Gina of Manalapan, NJ, four grandchildren, William David Simon, Benjamin Dean Simon, Samuel Joseph Ritzo and Ethan John Ritzo and his dog Gio.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. 

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday January 3, 2022, and 8:15-9:15 am on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 - 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am on Tuesday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10 am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
