Ronald V. D’Angelo, Age 83 passed away peacefully at his home on December 28th, 2021 surrounded by his beloved family.

Ronald was born in New York City, to Atilio (Anthony) and Mary D’Angelo. He was raised in New York and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman until his discharge. It was also in New York City where he met his wife, Marie. Together they moved to Jersey City where they raised their own family. They then lived in North Arlington and eventually settled in Monroe Township in 2005 after his retirement. Ronald worked for over 45 years as a bulk metals salesman, specializing in aluminum products and worked for several companies during that time.

He was a Yankees fan and loved to watch baseball games at home. It was at home that Ronald was most happy where he could be with and enjoy the best thing in his life, his family. Ronald was a dedicated father and wonderful grandfather. He would drop anything to help any of his children or grandchildren. Family was the absolute center of his life. Ronald was also an active member of the Nativity of Our Lord community, serving as an usher for many years and attending daily mass and prayer until his health slowed him.

Ronald is pre-deceased by his parents, Atilio (Anthony) D’Angelo and Mary D’Angelo as well as his dear sisters, Violet Sarra, Anne Antino, & Delores Antino.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie D’Angelo of Monroe Township, his son, Ronnie and his wife, Lisa D’Angelo of Colts Neck, and his daughter, Donna and her husband, Kevin Colish of Livingston. He is also survived by his treasured grandchildren, Amanda D’Angelo, Julianna Colish, Ashley D’Angelo, and Adrianna Colish.
