Obituary of Margaret Daly

Margaret M. (Eichele) Daly passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her home in Spotswood.  She was 95 years old.  Margaret was born and raised in Monroe Twp.  She resided for most of her life in Spotswood and spent her later years in Whiting before moving back to Spotswood.  She was a Senior Associate in Research and Development for Johnson and Johnson for over 25 years before her retirement in 1985.  She was a member of the Red Hats Club, and the Garden Club both of Cedar Glen Lakes in Whiting.  She was also a 55 year member and Past-President of the Spotswood VFW Post 4589 Ladies Auxilliary.  Margaret loved trips to Atlantic City, bowling, and enjoyed traveling.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward Daly, two children, Mark Daly, and Sharon Castro, four brothers, George, Jack, William, and Joe, and one sister, Jessie.

She is survived by her son, Patrick Daly and his wife Jeannie of Spotswood, her sister, Lillian Bennet of Monroe Twp., six grandchildren, Jennifer Carchesio and her husband Robert, Christine Jaedicke (#1) and her husband Scott, Fernando Castro and his wife Sara, Marcos Castro, JJ Blackmire and his wife Deserae, and Christian Hatcher and his husband Josh, nine great-grandchildren, Andrea, Kyle, Connor, Sara, Dana, Tyler, Leila, Maya, and Marcos, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2-6pm on Sunday, December 19, 2021 and from 9:30am to 10:00am on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 10:00am on Monday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick Twp.
