Obituary of Anthony J. Strivelli

Anthony J, Strivelli a deeply beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Father-in-law, Friend, and gentle soul with the heart of gold has passed away at the age of 90, on December 12^th, 2021.

Anthony was born on September, 13^th 1931 and raised in NYC, and moved with his lovely wife Nancy Strivelli of 63 years to Brooklyn, NY and finally settled in Monroe, New Jersey.

Anthony loved his family dearly and without hesitation he spent all of his precious time filling our home with joy, songs and laughter.

A fan of the NY Yankees, with a glow in his eyes and joyous smile Anthony could name every player and stat since day one. His favorite player would be Joey. D, hands down.

Anthony’s other love was music by Frank Sinatra, (“My Way” and “Nancy” With the Laughing Face, being his favorite song) Perry Como, Franky Lane to mention a few.

What he loved most was having his whole family under one roof singing, cooking his favorite dish (Spaghetti and Clams and don’t forget the Italian bread.) …and telling his favorite jokes.
He aimed for one thing in life and it was to spread his love with each of us until our hearts were filled with happiness and joy.
 

Anthony is survived by his loving wife Nancy Strivelli, his children Christopher, his daughter, his little baby doll Ann, his best friend Son-in-law Sam and precious Grandchildren, Tyler, Angelina, Sydney, Jyllian and MyleeAnn, and great grandson Kai.

Anthony is now with his mother Angelina, his brothers Gerard, Dominick (Buddy), cousins and many of his dear closest friends. Heaven has gained an angel, “Our Loving Angel”.

We will miss him dearly.

A memorial gathering will be held at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, NJ  08831 on Saturday, December 18^th, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.  A catholic blessing will be at 3:00 pm at the conclusion of the gathering.
