Obituary of Robert Panatieri

Robert Panatieri, 60, passed away at his home in Monroe Township Monday December 06, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born in New Brunswick to Sylvester and Maria Panatieri and was raised in Piscataway Township.

Robert met and married his wife of twenty-eight years, Denise (Duh) Panatieri and started their life together and then settled in Monroe Township. Robert worked for the Hilton Newark Airport as a lead engineer for the last twenty-eight years.

Robert was a family first man. He enjoyed traveling, especially Florida and its warm weather and beaches. He was a Dolphins and New York Giants fan but among all those things he most enjoyed being with and around his family and friends.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Sylvester and Maria Panatieri.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Panatieri, his brothers; Gene Panatieri of Wilkes-Barre PA, Marco and Susanna Panatieri of Neshanic Station, Christopher Panatieri and Tracy Wall of Neshanic Station. He also leaves behind his sisters, Denise Smith of Monroe Township, as well as Brenda and Dan Gallagher of Warren. His Aunt and Uncle; Frances Mattiucci of Hudson, PA, Gene and Pauline Panatieri of Lafin, PA and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert will be sadly missed by his Father and Mother-in-law, Frank and Kathy Duh of Old Bridge as well as his brother and sister in laws; David and Lauren Duh of Shepherdstown, WV, Dan and Cynthia Duh of South Bound Brook, Don and Michele Duh of South Bound Brook, Darlene and Jack Coughlin of Monroe Township, Deanne and Art Illenburger of New Windsor, NY and his best friend/brother Peter Stamile of Monroe NJ as well as his many friends and family in Italy.  He will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township on Sunday December 12, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and then again from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Another second visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 8:30 am – 9:30 am

A funeral liturgy will be held at Nativity of Lord Catholic Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township on Monday, December 13, 2021, beginning at 10:00 am.

Entombment will immediately follow mass at Resurrection Cemetery, 899 East Lincoln Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
