Obituary of Daniel John D'Amato

Daniel J. D’Amato, 81, Passed away on November 08, 2021, at his home in Monroe Township surrounded by his loving family.

Daniel was born in Brooklyn New York to Antonio and Clara D’Amato. He was raised there and met his dear wife, Carmela. They married and then moved to Staten Island New York where they raised their family. Daniel and Carmela settled in Rossmore, Monroe Township in 2017.

Daniel worked in the Printers trade for Fine Composition Printers until he retired in 2000.

Daniel enjoyed Ocean fishing as well as photography, and gardening but he was a family man first and loved being with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Daniel is pre-deceased by his sister, Rose Crimeni. He is survived by his beautiful family. His daughter, Lisa Savino and her husband Steven of Monroe Twp., His sons, Daniel D’Amato and his wife Lisa of Staten Island, New York, and Christopher D’Amato and his wife Laritza of Berkley Heights, New Jersey.

Daniel also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Steven, Christopher, Olivia, Christopher, Leyla, and Alexa.

He is also survived by his brother, Al D’Amato, and his wife Evelyn of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831,

A Catholic Memorial blessing will be held during these hours at 5:00pm.

A private cremation was held under the care of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home.
