Obituary of George Edward Valentini

George E. Valentini, 68, passed away on Thursday October 21, 2021 at his residence in Monroe Township surrounded by his family.  George was born in Jersey City and raised in Bayonne.  He and his wife Terri lived in Colonia for 30 years before moving to The Ponds in Monroe Township 8 years ago.  George enjoyed a long career as a top executive before founding G&B Fishing Products which he built into a great success.  George was rarely seen without Terri by his side and adored his children and grandchildren.  He was an avid fisherman, golfer and enjoyed collecting watches.  George would never miss an opportunity to offer help or guidance to anyone he met, and will be greatly missed by the endless list of lives he touched and influenced.  

George is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Terri (Spano) Valentini of Monroe Township, his daughter, Michele Primavera and her husband Patrick of Monroe Township, his son, Nicholas Valentini and his wife Erica of Warren, his parents, Catherine and Nicholas Valentini of Whiting, his sister, Anita Miller and her husband Don of Merritt Island, FL and four grandchildren: Juliana and Natalie Primavera and Emma and Nicholas Valentini.  

Visitation will be 5-8 PM on Tuesday October 26, 2021 and 9:15 - 10:15 AM on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 - 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 10:15 AM on Wednesday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church - 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 followed by a private cremation.
