Mike T. Exelbirt – Monroe Township, NJ

Michael T. Exelbirt, 78, passed away on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at the University Medical Center of Princeton @ Plainsboro.  Mike was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1943. He grew up in Elizabeth, NJ and spent most of his life in Old Bridge, NJ, before settling down in Monroe Township, NJ fifteen years ago.   At 18 years of age Mike graduated High School and then proudly served his country in the US Army.  He received an Honorable discharge after 6 years of service.  Mike then started a career at Sea Land and in only a short time worked his way up to operation manager. He was later employed by Autoland, and again, worked his way up to general manager of sales before finally retiring in 2010.  During his retirement he was an avid golfer and fully supported his wife while she opened Kribs Bagel Bazaar in Hazlet NJ. 

Mike is survived by his loving wife Yogi Exelbirt of Monroe Township, NJ, son, Aaron Exelbirt and his wife Nadine of Jackson, NJ, daughter Keasha Naidoo of South Africa, brother, Craig Exelbirt and his wife Eva of Union, NJ, and his grandson Noah Exelbirt. 

A memorial gathering will be from 2-5pm on Wednesday September 15, 2021, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831. 

In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial donation can be made to Wounded Warrior Project
