Obituary of Elizabeth E. Jones

Elizabeth E. 'Beth' (Egan) Jones passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home in Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Twp.  She was 76 years old.  Beth was born and raised in Careysville, Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland.  She came to the US in 1969 and settled in Paoli, PA.  She later lived in the Princeton area for many years before moving to Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Twp. in 2016.  She began her working career as a customer service representative before working as an in-house salesperson.  Most of her career, she worked for Sedgwick Co. in Princeton, and Firmenich Co. in Plainsboro.  She retired in 2012.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger S. Jones of Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Twp., four siblings, Thomas Egan and his wife Kathleen of Fermoy, Ireland, Ann McDonnell and her husband James of Kilworth, Ireland, Patrick Egan of Fermoy, Ireland, and Catherine Sertin and her husband Peter of Weybridge, England, and many other extended family members and friends.

A private cremation took place under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
