Obituary of Kathleen Donnelly

Kathleen (Haggerty) Donnelly, 85, passed away Monday July 05, 2021 at her home in Monroe Township surrounded by her family.

Kathleen was born in Newark NJ to Thomas L. and Louise Haggerty. She resided in Harrison before moving to Monroe Township in 2005. Kathleen worked for Prudential Insurance for 38 years as a financial specialist until her retirement in 1991. She traveled extensively with her late Husband, Roger L. Donnelly Sr., and was a great supporter of many charities throughout her life.

Kathleen is predeceased by her parents, Thomas L. and Louise Haggerty, her husband Roger J. Donnelly Sr., as well as her stepson, Roger Donnelly Jr.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas Haggerty of Monroe Township, and her sister Sharon Meola of New Providence NJ. Kathleen is also survived by her granddaughter, Jacqueline and great granddaughter, 2 stepdaughters; currently residing in Alaska, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township on July 9, 2021 at 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm and July 10, 2021, at 9:00am-9:30am. A funeral Liturgy will be held on July 10,2021 at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township at 10:00am. Burial will be immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
