Obituary of Nanette C Santa Croce

Nanette (Nan) C. Santa Croce, 76, passed away in Cranbury, NJ on July 03, 2021, at the Elms of Cranbury.

Nanette was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She was a Curtis High School graduate, class of ’62. She attended Plattsburgh State University, and graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She later went on to continue her education, and earned her degree, as a Nurse Practitioner in School Health in 1989. She worked as a nurse practitioner for 33 years in the Brentwood, NY school district until she retired in 1999.

Nan also worked many years as a waitress in “The Nanette Shop”, a family owned business.

Nanette is predeceased by her parents: Dominick and Nanette M. Santa Croce as well as her dear brothers; Frederick Santa Croce and Donald (Ace) Santa Croce, her nephew, Donald F. Santa Croce, and her niece Jessica Santa Croce.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mindy and Robert Puglia of Monroe Twp., NJ, and her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Jean Santa Croce of Staten Island, NY. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Roberta Santa Croce of Silverdale, PA. Nanette is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Nan is also survived, and will be missed by her dog “Ginger.”

Visitation will be held at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 (732) 521-0555 on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 10:00am - 1:00pm and again from 2:30pm - 4:30pm. A catholic blessing will then be held beginning at 4:30pm. Cremation will be private under the care of the M. David DeMarco Funeral home Inc.
