Obituary of Nancy D. Chamberlain

Nancy D. (DiPietro) Chamberlain, 89, passed away on Tuesday June 22, 2021 at The Gardens @ Monroe in Monroe Twp.  Nancy was born in New York City and moved to Jamesburg in 1941.  She was a graduate of Jamesburg High School and later attended Drake Business School in New Brunswick.  She worked for Hercules, Inc. in Parlin for 20 years as a switchboard operator and clerk, retiring in 1970.  Nancy was a long time parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church in Jamesburg and was very active in her community.  She was a member of the Jamesburg High School Alumni Association, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion Star Post 127 where she was very involved in the sale of poppies, past president and committee woman for the Jamesburg Democratic Organization, a member and former committee woman for the Monroe Twp. Democratic Organization, Director for Mutual #17 Board in Clearbrook, secretary for Honorable Nicholas Venezia, Esq., past Chairman of the Middlesex County Democratic Organization and a longtime member of the Monroe Twp. Historical Association.       

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lloyd Chamberlain (1997).

She is survived by her daughter, Rose E. Tricario of East Windsor.  

Visitation will be 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Thursday June 24, 2021 and 8:30am-9:30am on Friday June 25, 2021 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831 - 732-521-0555 - www.demarcofuneralhome.com.  Funeral services will begin at 9:30am on Friday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 10am at St. James the Less RC Church - 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ  08831 followed by entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
