Obituary of Margaret Nisivoccia
Margaret D’amato Nisivoccia was born 2/21/25 and lived in Ossining New York until moving to Newark New Jersey where she attended secretarial school. She worked as a legal secretary for Dupont until she married and started a family. She raised two daughters and moved to Nutley NJ where she resided until retirement from working as a buyer for Beisler, Weidmann.
She moved to Monroe Township and lived in Clearbrook Adult Community where she played bocce ball, cards and was active in the Italian American Club. She was also a loyal but superstitious Yankee fan who would get too nervous to watch when the games were close.
As a proud and loving grandmother, she took pride in making amazing food for Sunday Italian Dinners. So help you if you left anything on the plate or didn’t have seconds. Her grandchildren will remember her fondly and appreciated her love and support.
She was the last survivor of four sisters and two brothers. She also survived her husband Gerardo and eldest daughter Linda.
She has left behind a daughter Deborah, son-in -law’s Philip and William, three grandchildren: Jason, Ryan, and Stormie, and a grand dog Merlin.
Funeral services are private and are being held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
