Obituary of Mildred A. Clements

Mildred A. (McGrath) Clements passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge.  She was 103 years old.  Mildred was born and raised in Newark.  She resided in Kearny before moving to Woodmere Apartments, Spotswood in 1980.  She was an Administrative Clerk for Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Newark, and later worked as a part-time staff member in the office at Woodmere Apartments while living there.  She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward J. Clements in 1980, her son, Thomas E. Clements in 2007, two grandsons, Cory Clements, and Jayson Clements, and her sister, Patricia Myatt.

She is survived by her two children, Linda Ehlers and her husband Ted of Manchester, and Paul Clements and his wife Eva of Toms River, one sister, Helen Appenzellar, and eleven grandchildren, Robert S. Ehlers and his wife Carrie, Colleen M. Jobes and her husband Jacque, Caryn Clements, Nicholas Clements, Christopher Clements, Timothy Clements, Christy Gonzales, Cari Canifield, Sal Berardi and his wife Michele, Rosanna Salas and her husband Willie, and Francesca Berardi, and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, April 9, 2021 and from 10:00am to 10:30am on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 10:30am on Saturday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick Twp.
