Obituary of Angelo Pengue

Mr. Angelo Pengue, age 89 passed away at home on Sunday January 31, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Angelo was born in Benevento, Italy to Nicola and Maria Pengue. He was raised in Italy and after marrying his wife Maria Grace, they immigrated to the United States in 1966.  Angelo was always a proud American living in North Brunswick until moving to Milltown where he and Maria Grace raised their sons. Angelo moved to Millstone in 2016 and lived there up until his passing.

Angelo worked for Johnson and Johnson Inc. for over 25 years as a machinist until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed going to Atlantic City, and was a great fan of Soccer and his favorite team from Naples. Above all other things, Angelo was a family man. His family was everything to him. He adored not only his children but his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Maria Grace Pengue as well as two sons, Nicola and his wife Antonella of Millstone Twp. and Angelo Jr. also of Millstone Twp. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Angelo, Antonio, Nicholas, and Maria and his great grandchildren Hannah Grace, and Emma Rose.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. A Catholic blessing will be held on February 5, 2021 beginning at 10:30 am at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp. NJ 08831 (732)521-0555. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in South Brunswick.
