Obituary of Dominick Fiorello

Please share a memory of Dominick to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dominick Fiorello, 90, died on Sunday, January 31, 2021, with his loving family by his side.  Dominick was born in Brooklyn, NY.  He resided in Brooklyn, then Monmouth Junction, NJ before moving to Whiting, NJ in 2000.  He was employed by Eilert Printing in Manhattan, then ES&D in New Jersey and worked as a paper handler for many years before retiring in 1995.  Dominick was enlisted in the United States Army and worked the front lines.  He received two Bronze Service Stars and the United Nations Service Medal when he fought for our country in the Korean War.  Dominick loved spending time with his family and enjoyed bowling, bocce, playing cards and food shopping…. with coupons, of course!  

Dominick is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Fiorello (1977).

Dominick is survived by his wife of 66 years, Angie Fiorello, three sons, Dominick Fiorello and his wife, Karen, of Monmouth Junction, NJ; Anthony Fiorello of Staten Island, NY; Michael Fiorello and his wife, Erin, of Barnegat, NJ; daughter, Donna Grandin and her husband, Bill, of Monroe Township, NJ; four sisters, Anna Pastore of St. Augustine, FL; Amy Vignapiano of Brooklyn, NY; Lulu Altschuler and her husband, Harold, of Staten Island, NY; Dolores McFadden of Staten Island, NY; fifteen grandchildren, Jenai, Christina, Tara, Anthony, Joseph, Anthony, Dominick, Billy, Amanda, Michael, Gianna, Sal, Joey, Tino, Lorenzo, and his ten great grandchildren, Christian, Joey, Angelina, Gianna, Ariana, Nicolette, Rena, Joseph, JJ and Frankie.

Visitation will be from 9:30am to 10:30am on Thursday, February 4th at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, NJ.  A funeral liturgy will be at 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, NJ  08831.  Interment will follow in The Greenwood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
