Obituary of Daniel Lessner
Daniel Lessner passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at his home in Monroe Twp. He was 93 years old. Mr. Lessner was born and raised in Yonkers, NY. He later lived in Manhattan for many years before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1997. He served his country in the US Army during World War II and was an Industrial Specialist for the US Government for 26 years before his retirement in 1976. He was a photographer and has some of his pieces featured at the Brooklyn Museum in New York.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ana (Velez) Lessner of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., two second cousins, Dr. David Cziner, and Laurie Rosen, and several other extended family members.
A private graveside service has been arranged at Floral Park Cemetery in Monmouth Junction under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
