Obituary of Barbara L. Mollica

Barbara Stanley Mollica passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at her home in Monroe Twp.  She was 59 years old.  Barbara was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  She has resided in Monroe for the past 6 years.  In addition to raising her daughters, she was an Executive Assistant to the President of Fillmore Real Estate in Brooklyn for 18 years.  For the past four years, she worked as a Benefits Coordinator for Industrial Staffing Services in New Brunswick.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Felix and Rosina Taverna, and her sister, Frances D'Alessio.

She is survived by two daughters, Joanna and Nicole Mollica, three siblings, Donald Stanley and his wife Elizabeth, Diane Aiello and her husband Christopher and their children Angela and Christopher, and Theresa Taverna, and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

She touched the hearts of so many and she will be missed by all.

Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:45am on Friday November 27, 2020 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  Funeral services will begin at 10:45am from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 11:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by Interment in Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.

As a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on public life and activities, all current guidelines will be observed on the day of the funeral including the use of face coverings and social distancing.
