Obituary of Paul H. Dalton

Paul H. Dalton passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro Twp.  He was 67 years old.  Mr. Dalton was born and raised in Jersey City.  He later lived in North Bergen, Sayreville, Perth Amboy, and Woodbridge.  He has resided in Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. since 2010.  He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Josephus Daniels.  He was a metal polisher and worked for Tiffany & Co. in Newark, as well as being employed as a dock worker for various trucking companies.  He retired in 2018 from the NJ Turnpike Authority where he worked as a toll collector.  He was a member of the Monroe Twp. Seniors and was a member of Teamsters Local Union No. 701 in North Brunswick.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Robert Dalton.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol (Kaminski) Dalton of Clearbrook, Monroe Twp., one daughter, Kimberly Dalton of Brooklyn, four siblings, Thomas Dalton and his wife Rosemary of Spring Hills, FL, Bryan Dalton and his wife Kelly of Myrtle Beach, SC, Diana Taran and her husband Walter of Kingswood, TX, and Donna Herrera and her husband Jose of Tamaqua, PA, and many other extended family members.

Arrangments, including a private cremation, are under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.

A memorial gathering will be from 9:00am to 11:00am on Friday December 4, 2020 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  A memorial service will take place at the conclusion of the gathering hours at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Entombment of Paul's cremated remains will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
