Walter was born in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Bellville, NJ and Sayreville, NJ before moving to Monroe Township, NJ twenty-five years ago. Walter was a graduate of St. Anthony’s Highschool, Class of 1975, a graduate of St. Peter’s College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration from Pace University. In his early career, Walter, was employed by Colgate and then AT&T for the past thirty-three years. Walter was a member of the Sayreville Knights of Columbus 0670 Our Lady of Victory, he was an avid bowler, NY Mets, NY Giants and NY Rangers fan, enjoyed cooking for his family, and working on his house.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of thirty seven years, Marie (DiGioia) Zdrodowski of Monroe Township, NJ, his children, Andrew Zdrodowski and his wife Nicolle of East Windsor, NJ, Stephen Zdrodowski of Monroe Township, NJ, Kristine Felix and her husband Christopher of Spotswood, NJ, two grandchildren, Zachary Zdrodowski and Madison Felix and one granddaughter on the way and his brother Thomas Zdrodowski of Canandaigua, NY. Also surviving are extended family members and friends. Walter is preceded in death by his parents Sigmund and Helen (Hyjek) Zdrodowski and this brother, Michael Zdrodowski.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, November 6, 2020 and from 9:00am to 9:45am on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Saturday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at Immaculate Conception RC Church - 23 Manalapan Road – Spotswood, NJ.
