Obituary of Richard D. Boylan
Richard D. Boylan passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 84 years old. Richard was born in New Brunswick and was raised in Highland Park. He was a long-time resident of North Brunswick and later lived in Seaside Park. He has resided in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. since 2001. He was a former Principal and was previously employed by Piscataway Vocational School and retired from Perth Amboy Vocational School. He spent some of his retirement RVing throughout the United States.
He was pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law, Amy Boylan.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Quinn) Boylan of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., two sons, Daniel Boylan and his wife Rebecca of Upper Pottsgrove, PA, and Timothy Boylan of Freehold Twp., three siblings, Barbara Shepard and her husband Glen, William Boylan, and Eleanor Bodnar and her husband John, two grandsons, Jacob Boylan and his wife Morgan, and Jonathan Boylan, and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. A catholic blessing will begin at the conclusion of the visitation at 11:00am on Thursday at the funeral home followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, Jamesburg.
