Obituary of Rosemary Angela Torrey

   Rosemary Torrey passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 2, 2020. Rose was born in New Brunswick and raised in Jamesburg until residing in Perrineville.

 Rose is survived by her husband of 27 years, Robert Torrey, her son Louis Hornberger of Jamesburg, her daughters Melissa Beers, Samantha Torrey, Stephanie Torrey and her brother Joseph DeLorenzo and his wife Alda.  Also surviving are her dear grandchildren, Dallis, Paiten, and Adyson, along with so many beloved family and friends.

 Rose was a beautician for over 30 years before retiring in 2001. Rose put others before herself, loved family, friends and animals and gave her heart to everyone.  She loved to cook, and feed everyone.  You could always see rose taking care of grand kids, children, mother and father.  Rose was most herself when she was home or at the camp ground, that was her safe haven.  She enjoyed every trip seeing new places and traveling especially Hawaii.  Rose loved going to see the NASCAR races and cheering on Dale and Dale Jr. 

 Rose was always smiling and could light up the room, she had such a big impact on everyone’s life, and no one will ever forget her.  Rose was complete when she was with Bob her husband; she was whole with him for their 27 years of marriage.

 Most of all Rosie and Bob never argued or fought only loved with all they had.  Rose and Bob 1+1=1

  Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 07, 2020 from 3pm-6pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, (732) 521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday July 08, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. James the Less R.C. Church, 36 Lincoln Ave. Jamesburg, NJ.
