Many memories over the years in Monroe, our family has supported Roy. He was a gentleman and a gentle man.
I know my mother, Bette Schmid, deceased July 31, 2019, will be making a pineapple upside down cake for him
on his birthday in heaven. Rest in peace Roy. A pleasure to have know such a wonderful man. Sincere condolences to Mary and her family.

Uncle Roy and I shared the same birthday. We once celebrated together in Atlanta, GA. I will always remember that gorilla and look on Uncle Roy’s face. He and my dad were like brothers. Love to family.
