Justo A. Morales, 73, died on Tuesday May 19, 2020 at the Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. Justo was born in Manhattan, NY and resided in Bayside Queens, NY for most of his life, before retiring to Coconut Creek, FL. Justo proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Justo was employed by the NYC Transit Authority, as a track inspector, for thirty four years, retiring in 2018. He loved watching the history channel, documentaries and was an avid movie lover. He was a loyal Mets fan, was always ready for Sunday football and still rocked on to Disco and Rock music. In the past couple of years he enjoyed traveling to Costa Rica and Bimini Island. Some of his favorite quotes were: “It is what it is”; “A good man always carries a good knife” and “My get up and go, got up and left”
Justo is preceded in death by his three brothers; Albert Morales II, Vincent Montoya, and Victor Casiano.
Justo is survived by his daughter, Tracy Valle and her husband Luis, three sons; Robert Morales, Justo Morales, Jr. and Jesse Morales, his nephew, who cared for him during these difficult times, Albert Morales, III, his cousins, who brought him so much joy, Leila, Susan, Madine, and Josie. Also surviving are many more nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He will forever be missed by his granddaughter Sadie, his “little Nugget’.
