Michael was the most loving and giving man and his memory will live on for generations. He was an incredible husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by hundreds, if not thousands of people. He was a genuinely loving man who loved hosting parties with his wife and being surrounded by loved ones. He loved hosting Christmas for his nieces and nephews and playing Santa just to see them smile. To know him was to love him and we were all lucky to join him on the journey of his short lived life. He will continue to live in our hearts and souls.
Mike found profound beauty and strength in the human spirit. In the words of one of his favorite bands:
"When you can’t find the light
That got you through the cloudy days
When the stars ain’t shinin’ bright
You feel like you’ve lost you're way
When the candlelight of home
Burns so very far away
Well, you got to let your soul shine"
And shine he did! Michael will be missed by all. May we all shine brighter for knowing and loving him.
