Jacquelyn “Jackie” (Quinnan) Pang, of Dayton, NJ passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was 64 years old. Jackie was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Kenilworth, NJ. She lived in Dayton, NJ for 36 years. She is survived by her husband Joe, of 38 years, a daughter, Kimberly Torres and her husband Brian of Skillman, NJ, two sons Matthew Pang of Manalapan, NJ and Christopher Pang of New Brunswick, NJ, her parents, Gerard and Veronica Quinnan of Kenilworth, NJ, a sister, Veronica Boduck of Woodbridge Twp., NJ, a brother, Mark Quinnan of Hillsborough, NJ and many other extended family members and friends.
Jackie taught Kindergarten and 2nd Grade for the South Brunswick Board of Education for 22 years before retiring in 2017. She loved teaching and working at the South Brunswick Community Ed Gymnastics Program. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at weekly Sunday dinners. In her free time, she enjoyed cruising, attending Broadway shows and volunteering for various organizations including New Jersey Special Olympics. Her favorite place on Earth was Kaanapali Beach on the Island of Maui.
Jackie’s family has created The Jackie Pang Fund in her honor. The fund will support research and caregiver support for families facing Frontotemporal Dementia and enrichment programs for teachers and students in the South Brunswick School District.
