Obituary of Carol E. Buckley

Carol E. (Anderson) Buckley passed away on Sunday March 29, 2020 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. She was 82 years old. Carol was born and raised in Queens, NY. She lived most of her life in Sayreville and upon her retirement moved to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. She has resided in Spotswood with her dog, Shotzy, since 2016. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in New York City and later worked in the same capacity for Pfizer in Old Bridge until her retirement in 2003. She served as President of Section 8 of the Clearbrook community while she resided there. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary for the John Basilone Marine Corps Detachment in Milltown. She loved her grandsons and never missed a game in which either of them played. They were both her pride and joy.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, John 'Jack' Buckley.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Rogers and her husband Edward, Jr. of Spotswood, two grandsons, Edward, III, and Kyle, and several members of her extended family including, Joan Rogers, Barbara Rogers, Carole Bailey, Eileen White, Laura Szabo and her husband Don, Shawn Rogers and his wife Laura and their families.
Out of respect and concern for public health and safety, funeral services and entombment are to be held privately at the convenience of the family.
