Obituary of Ugo V. Re

Ugo Vincent Re passed away on Saturday January 25, 2020 at his home in The Ponds, Monroe Twp.  He was 81 years old.  Ugo was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  He later lived in Flushing, Queens, Levittown, LI, NY and most recently has resided in the Middlesex County, NJ area.  He worked for most of his career as an Electronics Technician, as well as in a Managerial role, for AT&T.  He had a great passion for his hobbies in electronics, computers, bocce, and geneology.

He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Michelle Marie Re in 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose Marie (Canariato) Re of The Ponds, Monroe Twp., two children, Dr. Thomas J. Re and his wife Olga Tagliaferri, and Jeannine Re McNamara and her husband Daniel, one brother, Ron Re and his wife Sue Anne, two grandchildren, Cara, and Daniel, and many other extended family members.  He is fondly remembered by his au pairs and caretakers;  Francesca, Guila, Carlos, Lambert, Marta, Martina, Maria Luisa, Serena, Piera, Licia, Irisha, Paula, Ruth, and Betty.

A private cremation was held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., Monroe Twp., NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday February 1, 2020 at St. James the Less RC Church, 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, NJ.
