Obituary of Anthony S. Moreno

Anthony S. Moreno passed away on Monday January 13, 2020 at Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge.  He was 77 years old.  Anthony was born in Hoboken and was a long-time Bergen County resident.  He has resided in Old Bridge for over 45 years.  He was a pipefitter for Union Local 274 in Hopatcong and retired in 2003.  He was a former coach and board member for the Old Bridge Little League and the Old Bridge Rams.  He was devoted to his family and especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Barbara (Foose) Moreno 2014, and his son-in-law, Scott Kappmeier in 2019.

He is survived by four children, Jason Moreno and his wife Luanne, Renee Kappmeier, Jeffrey Moreno and his wife Connie, and Greg Moreno and his wife Jillian, three step-children, Thomas Flynn and his wife Bridget, Tracey Flynn, and Scott Flynn and his wife Dorothy, 16 grandchildren, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday January 17, 2020 and from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday January 18, 2020 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.  A funeral service will be 11:00am on Saturday at the funeral home.  Cremation is private.
