Obituary of John Mennuti

John Mennuti, 66, of Jamesburg, passed away on Sunday December 22, 2019 at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick. John was born and raised in Hightstown before settling in Jamesburg. He was employed by Mideast Aluminum and then with Michael Smith Excavating and finally Shaw Industries where he worked for over 20 years. He was a volunteer Firefighter in Monroe Twp., an avid outdoorsman and loved working on cars. He was a very talented mechanic. John was preceded in death by his parents, Attilio and Victoria Mennuti first wife, Vicki Diane Mennuti and his brother, Edward Mennuti. He is survived by his wife, Gail Mennuti of Matawan, three daughters: Deanna Tjornhom and her husband Kristian of Jamesburg, Kristen Mennuti of Jamesburg and Kendyl Burzachiello and her husband Steven of Jamesburg, three sisters: Victoria "Cindy" Linke, Lorraine Linke and Mary Kiser, one grandson, John Thomas Flesch and his nephew, James Mennuti. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Friday December 27, 2019 and 9-10am on Saturday December 28, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. A catholic blessing will be 10am on Saturday at the funeral home followed by interment in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg.
