Obituary of Margaret M. Quartuccio

Margaret M. (Bontempo) Quartuccio, 61, of Monroe Township passed away on Friday December 20, 2019 at St. Peter’s University Medical Center in New Brunswick. Margaret was born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn. She lived in Staten Island for most of her adult life before moving to North Brunswick where she lived for 3 years, finally settling in Monroe Township in August 2019. She was employed by the New York Stock Exchange for 25 years. Margaret loved disco music and dancing and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Rosario Salvatore Bontempo (1978). She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Paul Quartuccio of Monroe Twp., her mother Marianne Bontempo and John Mandelino of Brooklyn, three siblings: Lisa Lowen of Old Bridge, Ann Marie Walraven & Ervie Roy Walraven IV of Jamesburg, and Charles Bontempo of Brooklyn, five nieces and nephews: Richard, Ava, Ross, Christian and Richard and her dog, Gidget. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Friday December 27, 2019 and 8:30am - 9:15am on Saturday December 28, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Funeral services will begin at 9:15am on Saturday from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10am at St. James the Less RC Church – 36 Lincoln Ave, Jamesburg, NJ 08831 followed by a private cremation.
