Obituary of Olga Naccarella
Olga (Lattari) Naccarella died on Sunday December 15, 2019 at Princeton Medical Center Penn Medicine in Plainsboro. She was 93 years old. Olga was born and raised on Beaumont Ave. in the Bronx, NY, later moving to the Wakefield section of the Bronx in 1954. She resided there until moving to Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Twp. in 1999. She earned her Master's Degree in Education from Fordham University in 1979 and went on to become a teacher for the New York City Board of Education where she worked for 25 years before her retirement in 1996. Olga was tri-lingual and spoke Italian, Spanish, and English. She used those skills as an English as a Second Language teacher and was beloved by her students. She was a member of the homeowners association board of directors, a past president and member of the Italian American Club, a member of the Chorus Club, and was an editor of the news publication in her community, Greenbriar at Whittingham.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Teodoro Naccarella of Greenbriar at Whittingham, Monroe Twp., three sons, Robert Naccarella and his wife Ting Shen of Piscataway, Theodore Naccarella and his partner Kimberly Gost of Longport, and Daniel Naccarella and his wife Shana of Ardsley, NY, five grandchildren, Jacey, Ian, Jake, Tucker, and Evan, and many other extended family members.
Cremation is private.
A memorial gathering will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday December 19, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc.
