To our friend Geri.... we have known each other for 25 years. You were one of the first to welcome us into the neighborhood with opened arms and we remained great friends since. From teaching our son Joseph his abc's at the Big Apple, to enjoying all your house parties, to just getting together and hanging out, those memories will last a lifetime. I tell everyone what a strong woman you were going through everything, but always with kind words and asking me how my family was, but that was you, always thinking about others. All our hearts are broken, but our memories of you will last forever. Love you and miss you Geri

Dearest Geri,
You were my first and will always remain my dearest friend. As you always referred to me when introducing me to others: "this is my playpen friend!" And, there it is, 70 years of friendship later, and it still seems like it was not long enough. Once Geri became your friend, she was your forever friend.
You will surely be missed. Grab hold of Billy's hand, as you smile down upon your boys, family and friends. You are the closest thing to an angel I have ever known.
God bless and keep you in his loving arms.
Love,
Diana

Miss Geri,
You could never really cook but you knew how to make memories. From your extra hard brownies during Wrestling events on Sunday nights to the overly sweet lemonade that probably gave all the Wiffleball stars of Driftwood court juvenile diabetes. You were such an important part of not only my childhood, but all the boys who hung out at the house. I am so thankful that I was able to grow up with an Aunt & Godmother like you in my life. It hurts knowing my baby girl will not get the chance to meet you but Jackie and I promise to keep your memory alive.
Thank you for everything. We love you.

Dear Gerri,
A beautiful friend you were to us. The memories we made on Driftwood Court will live in our hearts forever. It's unbelievable when we look across the street and know that you and Billy are no longer with us. It's just heart wrenching.
If the care alone you received from your loving family could have keep you alive, you would have never died. The courage and strength you displayed was remarkable. We know you are in heaven with Billy and together watching over your family.
Driftwood Court will never be the same with 20 years of friendship with you and Billy.
Thanks for the memories......we loved you so.

Geri, it’s hard to believe I am writing this tribute. I was waiting for your call the past few days and the silence was deafening.
Many people tell me what a good sister I have been to you. I respond by saying, “how lucky I was to have you as my sister”. You were my best friend. Always cheering me on and giving me advice. The past three years was a roller coaster of emotions, I could not do enough for you to try and make your life easy and less stressful. If given the chance I’d take that bumpy ride with you all over again. You always worried you were taking me from my family time. Ray knew how much I loved you and was always so supportive of our sisterly bond.
I am comforted knowing you are no longer in pain and that you and Billy are together again. Please watch over your boys from heaven and Ray and I will keep close watch from here.
We love you and miss you;(

Ms. Geri was such a loving and caring teacher at COA. She taught my daughter all of her colors and so much more. She always remembered my Reagan and would see her at St. Bart's...always giving her a big hug and smile. Rest in Peace Ms. Geri, you were loved and adored by our family especially by my Reagan.

My dear sister Geri, I miss you SO very much. How I hated to see you suffer and how torn I was watching you suffer so horribly. Wanting you to go so it would end while praying to God Almighty that you might stay with us just a bit longer, that perhaps he'd provide the miracle of your improved health even if just for a little longer!
I love and miss you so very much, I trust in God that you are in his warm and loving embrace and free from the earthly suffering that you've endured for far too long.
Your loving sister,
Joanne
