Obituary of Patricia Ann Bochis

Patricia Ann Grace Bochis, age 81, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2019 with her loving family by her side.  Patricia was born to Patrick and Helen Grace on August 30, 1938 in Staten Island.  She resided most of her life in East Brunswick, NJ.  Patricia graduated from Holy Family Academy and Bayonne School of Nursing as a RN.  Married to her beloved husband of 44 years, the late Dr. Richard J. Bochis, and sharing a lifetime of love, adventure, sailing, dancing and traveling. 

 

Patricia lived her life with abundant joy, faith, happiness and unquestionable love for her adoring family, Donna Padovano and husband Richard, Kathy King and husband Loren and Richard Bochis, Jr. and wife Dawn.  Leaving behind a wonderful legacy, Pat was cherished by her grandchildren, Dominick and Danielle Padovano, Ryan and Andrew King, and Madeline and Sophia Bochis.  Patricia is also survived by her loving sister Eileen Czarnecki, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Arlene and Edward Ward, her brother-in-law Rich Lautenschlager and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much.  Also supported by her loving caregiver, Faye. She was predeceased by her brother, John Grace, brother-in-law, Jeff Czarnecki and sister-in-law Marianne Lautenschlager. 

 

Pat and her husband shared an abundance of lifelong friends, welcoming all into their home for special occasions and fun filled gatherings with Irish music, dance, pool parties and unique family traditions.  Patricia was known for her kind heartedness, a generous spirit and vivacious nature.  Patricia was quite accomplished and served as a role model for all, lived her life with purpose, great compassion and caring.  Patricia dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse in many hospitals, including Carrier Clinic, providing exceptional care to those in need.  She was actively involved in her community through the Jaycettes and East Brunswick Women’s Club.

 

A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am on Saturday September 28, 2019 at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin – 198 Sandford St., New Brunswick, NJ  08901 followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick.  Funeral arrangements are being held under the direction of the M.
