Obituary of Daniel Lynch, Sr.

Daniel Lynch, Sr. passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick.  He was 73 years old.  Daniel was born and raised in Brooklyn.  He later lived in Staten Island before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1983.  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a purple heart recipient.  He was employed as a truck driver and worked for several different employers during his career.  He retired in 2009.  He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the Spotswood Memorial VFW Post 4589, and the Disabled American Veterans.  His biggest hobby was playing scratch-off lottery tickets and drinking coffee.

He was pre-deceased by three brothers, John Lynch, Michael Lynch, and Kevin Lynch.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy (Iannacone) Lynch of Monroe Twp., Sean Lynch of Brooklyn, Colleen Lowe and her husband Christopher of Bedford, TX, Kimberly Morolda and her husband Zachary of Freehold, and Daniel Lynch, Jr. and Christiane of Winter Garden, FL, five grandchildren, Justin and Stephanie Lowe, Zoe and Leo Morolda, and Desmond Lynch, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday September 23, 2019 and from 8:45am to 9:45am on Tuesday September 24, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Tuesday from the funeral home.  Interment, and committal with military honors will be 11:00am on Tuesday at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
