Obituary of Joan P. Nakash

Joan Nakash entered the Gates of Heaven on September 5, 2019 to join her parents, family and friends who were there to greet her.  She was born and raised in Newark, NJ and attended St. Mary's Catholic School.  She worked for the Monroe Twp. School District for over 25 years and adored her Barclay Brook students.  She loved to knit and crochet and to make amazing crafts.  She was a fantastic cook who rarely followed a recipe.

She will be missed by her husband of 61 years, Robert Nakash, Sr., her children: Dawn Quarino and her husband Vincent and Robert Nakash, Jr. all of Monroe Twp. and William Nakash and his wife Aiza of Las Vegas, NV, her sister, June Jusinski of East Brunswick and four grandchildren: Ashleigh Aiken and her husband Shaun, Alexa Quarino, Luke Nakash and Hunter Nakash.  

Visitation will be 4-8pm on Monday September 9, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  A catholic blessing will be 7:30pm during the visiting hours.  Entombment will be 11am on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at Forest Green Park Cemetery Mausoleum - 535 Texas Rd., Morganville, NJ  07751.
