Obituary of Mary E. Brosseau

Mary E. (Lawrenson) Brosseau, 90, passed away on Thursday September 5, 2019 at Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Monroe Twp.  Mary was born, raised and educated in New York City.  She lived in Edison for 15 years before settling in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1994.  Mary began her career as a file clerk.  She worked as a medical underwriter for NY Life Insurance Co. in New York City for 42 years and retired in 1986 as an assistant vice president.  She volunteered for JFK Hospital in Edison for 10 years.  Mary was a member of the Emerald Society, Rossmoor Travel Club and an active member of the Princeton Food Bank.  She was a founding member of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Monroe Twp.     

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Brosseau (1998), her son, Rev. Richard E. Brosseau (2018), her daughter, Jill Brosseau Miller (2014), and her granddaughters: Nicole Brosseau Postell (2005) and Debora Miller (1973).

She is survived by her cousins, Elaine Andrus, Eileen Prickett, Jack Prickett, Robyn Prickett, Erin Prickett, Jackie Gould Lundy and Cathy Gould, four grandchildren: Wendy Miller Orchard, Matthew Brosseau, Joseph Miller and Bethany Miller, eight great grandchildren: Victoria Postell, Julia Postell, Brendan Orchard, Ryan Orchard, Trevor Orchard, Kyle Orchard, Lukas Miller and Lilliana Miller-Locklear, and her dear friend, Tracie Conforti. 

Visitation will be 8:30-9:30am on Monday September 9, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ  08831.  A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at Queenship of Mary RC Church - 16 Dey Rd., Plainsboro Twp., NJ  08536 - followed by entombment in St. Gertrude's Mausoleum - Colonia.
